July/August Adventures (Fiji)

We haven't updated you lately since our arrival in Samoa where we had a wonderful stay where we explored the main island and met a tribal chief and an artisan from his village from whom we bought wood carvings.

Samoa: July 5-11, 2002

We call it home, you call it paradise

The Samoan people were some of the friendliest and most polite we've encountered throughout the world. We anchored in the main town of Apia and enjoyed seeing the daily marching band and procession that welcomes in each new day for the Samoan government.

Tuamotus and Tahiti

Dava's cousins Andree and Luke visited. Moorea is spectacular! We anchored in Cook's Bay on the Northern side of the island and met our friends from Seattle on Athanor and from Georgia on Charlotte.

Panama Canal crossing March 15-16, 2002

Three fantastic days were spent with three Kuna Indian families on West Holendes island. Then we sailed 1 day to arrive in Colon, Panama to start preparations for crossing the canal.

Curacao

After a fantastic 3-day sail from Guadaloupe, we arrived in Curaçao, Netherland West Indies, just North of the Venezuelan coast.

French West Indies, Antigua, and Guadaloupe

Tato Velez Funes joined us to explore St. Martin, St. Barts, Antigua, and Guadeloupe. The company and food were excellent!

Puerto Rico, December, 2001

Our first educational stop was a huge success in Luquillo, Puerto Rico at the Escuela Superior Isidro Sanchez - thanks to the fantastic students, teachers, and principal.

Virgin Islands to St. Martin

Christmas Eve, 2001, we sailed from Puerto Rico to the beautiful island of Culebra (Spanish Virgin Islands). Then we arrived in the US and British Virgin Islands.
